Once upon a time, I used to overanalyze anything and everything. Every negative outcome had to be broken down and figured out. What happened? What did I do wrong? How could I have prevented it? Whenever something didn't result in what I perceived to be the most favorable outcome, I would have to find something or someone to blame.
Tonight, it hit me that I don't always do this anymore. Sometimes shit happens, and it's nobody or nothing's fault. It just happens. All the analysis and/or assingment of blame in the world isn't going to change the outcome.
It's good to just curl up with the Dog and play some CDs.
