I haven't looked up the fee schedule, but I think it's in the $700 range because he clocked me at 20 over.
I will get out of the speeding ticket via defensive driving. He didn't notice the expired registration sticker. My insurance was up to date and had expired less than a week earlier, so I can get that nixed by sending in a copy of my current proof of insurance.
The only remaining issue is whether the court will show me mercy about the expired DL. I got it renewed on Monday afternoon, but it's been expired for over 3 months, so I might be out of the grace period and SOL. Hopefully they'll show some compassion for the fact that it expired right after I got LASIK.
